Good Thursday Morning!
The Bible says:
In the same way you judge others, you will be judged.
Matthew 7:2
If you have a genuine concern for someone who’s going in the wrong direction, and you have earned the right to address it, do it in the “spirit of love”.
How do you earn that right?
You earn that right by consistently demonstrating love and care for them.
In everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.
Matthew 7:12

And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did it not.

When God has a work for you to do, you may not understand it or agree with it.
Don’t be like Jonah……get swallowed up in a great fish for three days.
But Jonah prayed and repented.
Do you feel like you are drowning today?

Good Monday Morning!
The Bible says:
But godliness with contentment is great gain.
1 Timothy 6: 6
God calls the church to manifest his generosity.
Yet we often fail him and fall short in our call because we have not taken seriously his call to be stewards of all that he created.
Godly stewardship demands that we challenge the “haves” while encouraging the “have nots”.
Its our responsibility to develop a stewardship of our own resources: to give with a cheerful attitude; to lend to those who have need; to learn how to live in peace whether we have money or not.
To learn to rejoice in all of the wonderful blessings that God makes available to us.

Good Sunday Morning!
The Bible says:
Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
This is the first and great commandment. Matthew 22:37: 38
Many people will give God a little. And some are willing to give him a great deal.
But God commands us to give him all.
Not just our burdens, heartaches, troubles, and sorrows.
God wants our gifts, talents, intelligence, skills and will.
When we bring him our all, he will do for us what he did with two fish and five loaves of bread.
He will bless us and multiply what we have and what we give.

Daily Devotion-January 23 2016

Good Saturday Morning!
The Bible says:
God ……will not forget the work you did and the love you showed.
Hebrews 6:10 NOV
Isn’t it wonderful to know that man may forget the work you did but God never will?
And your reward will be so much greater!!!
Keep this in mind as you go through the day, the week, the month and the year.
Only the things you do for Christ will last.

Good Friday Morning!
The Bible says:
Count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work…If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him
James 1:2-5
When faced with uncertainties, we are
not to panic but to ” count it all joy”
To cooperate with God in every situation, always staying faithful.Realizing that the testing of our faith produces patience.
Wisdom is cultivated as we endure circumstances, and are faithful through trials and uncertainties.
Wisdom comes in part through patience and the process of waiting on the Lord.

Sitting across from the offering box, he was observing how the crowd tossed money in for the collection Many of the rich were making large contributions.
One poor widow came up and put in two small coins- a measly two cents.
Jesus called his disciples over and said , “The truth is that this poor widow gave more to the collection than all the others put together.”
All the others gave what they’ll never miss; she gave extravagantly what she couldn’t afford- she gave her all”.
