Good Wednesday Morning!
The Bible says:
But you shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost shall come upon you, and you shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uppermost part of the earth.
Acts 1:8
As Christians we have been called by God, commissioned by Jesus Christ, and enabled by the power of the Holy Spirit to fulfill our individual missions with courage, boldness, confidence and insight. We have been given the power to “serve the King of kings”.The Holy Spirit directs our path toward the mission to be accomplished, and the power of the Holy Spirit enables us to develop the skills and behaviors to achieve our goals.
Even when our personal circumstances limit our ability to see beyond the immediate situation, the power of the Holy Spirit enables us to envision and to focus on greater service in God’s kingdom.

Good Tuesday Morning!
The Bible says:
“I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.”
John 6:38
Jesus lived his life totally for others. His heart was open to all; he did not discriminate against anyone, he embraced all with divine love, especially the socially and religiously marginalized (Mark 2:15)
He personally lived the life he preached (Matthew 5:43)
Forgiving those who crucified him (Luke 23; 3-546)
He had no hidden agenda, nor did he censure those who came to him, for “him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out”.(John 6:37)
We as Christians should do the same.Jesus is the best example to follow. Let’s walk it out!

Good Sunday Morning !
Jesus says::
“And now I am I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee.Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are.”
John 12:11
As Jesus prepared to experience Calvary, he prayed that his followers, present and future, would be bound together in such unity.
Jesus wants us to be unified so that we can build each other up and not tear each other down. And not be preoccupied with selfish desires so the kingdom could be established here on earth.
This is what we should be about..when we come together, pray together and commit ourselves to do His will.
Only his vision and his spirit can conquer self and bind us into a spiritual force that closes the distance between heaven and earth.
Let us be united in Christ’s love to do His will.

Happy Saturday!
The Bible says:
And he said unto her.Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be made whole.
Mark 5:34
We live in a world that views pain as an enemy.Jesus did not turn from his own pain or the pain of others. During his ministry, those in pain came to him. When Jesus encountered them, he stopped and took time for their pain.
Jesus can handle the pain in our lives when we take time, when we bring it to him in faith.
Paul talks about his own thorn in the flesh and how he asked God to remove it three times but God said, “My grace is sufficient for thee; for my strength is made perfect in weakness”.
2Corinthians:12:9
He is saying even today…My grace will be with you in your fiery furnace, My grace will help ypu part the waters of your Jordan Rivers, My grace will shut the mouths of the lions in your lions den.My grace will fight your battles and bring down the walls of your Jerichoes.
Whatever pain you are going through….God is able to give you the strength to make it through.

Happy Friday!
The Bible says:
Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
This is the first and great commandment.
Matthew 22:37-38
So many people don’t mind giving God a little. And some are willing to give him a bit more.Others are even willing to give him a great deal. But God commands us to give him all of our headaches, heartaches, troubles and sorrows.God wants our gifts, talents, intelligence, skills, and will.
When we bring him our all, he will do for us what he did with two fish and five loaves of bread. He’ll bless us and multiply what we have and what we give. He’ll grant purpose and meaning upon our lives. He’ll cause us to be men among men, and women among women.

Happy Thursday!
The Bible says:
A blind beggar named Bartimaeus…began to cry out and say”Jesus, Son Of David, have mercy on me!” Many were sternly telling him to be quiet, but he kept crying out all the more…”What do you want Me to do for you?”‘
‘I want to regain my sight!” And Jesus said to him, “Go; your faith has made you well.”
Mark 10:46-52
God looks at our lives in the same way. Our needs can seem obvious. It can seem that He should know what we need without saying a word. Yet, He still asks us, “What do you want Me to do for you?”
He wants to know how much we want answers to our problems. Are we content with the life we are living? Do we really want Him to asnwer our prayers and provide for our needs? Do we really want to change, overcome bad habits, and escape the bondages of sin and the flesh?
Think about this. Don’t be afraid to tell God the deepest needs of your heart. Demonstrate your desire for change through your persistence and faith in Him. He is waiting to hear from YOU!

Happy Wednesday!
The Bible says:
Where there is no vision, the people perish, but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.
Proverbs 29:18
If you can believe it; you can do it! If you can see it you can do it! Many great ideas have been buried with men & women and are in the graveyard. Don’t let your dreams die!
And the Lord answered me”Write the vision, make it plain on tablets, That he may run who reads it.For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie.
Though it tarries wait for it;
Because it will surely come, It will not tarry.
Habakkuk 2:2 -3

Happy Tuesday!
The Bible says:
Let us draw near to God with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith.
Hebrews 10:21-22
Born on this day in 1820, Fanny Crosby wrote how it seemed that God had “intended ..that she should be blind all her life”. Rather than complain she thanked Him, to the point that she would not accept sight if it were “offered to her”.
She realized that her blindness had become a gateway to praising God. She said, “I might not have sung hymns to the praise of God if I had been distracted by the beautiful interesting things about me”. She went on to write more than 8, 000 songs.
My favorite: “Blessed Assurance”

Praise was so important to her that she summarized her life this way.
“This is my story, this is my song, praising my Savior, all the day long”
You may feel that you are facing overwhelming problems, but God does not want you to complain, worry, or be bitter. Learn from Fanny Crosby’s example and fill your heart with God’s praises. Know that God loves you, and He has a plan for your life. You can be confident in Him, knowing that He wants you to have His peace, assurance and blessing.
No matter what you are going through, fill your life with praises for your Savior. Make this your story and your song.

Daily Devotion-Mar 23 2015

Happy Monday!
The Bible says:
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you.
Jeremiah 29:11-12
Recognize God has placed us where we are now.He knows what He is doing.
We have a long term hope for return and restoration. God has promised. ..that suffering has meaning.
He knows the thoughts that He thinks toward us. Thoughts of peace, and not evil, to give us an expected end.
Paul says:”Tribulations worketh patience, experience; and experience , hope: and hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us”.Romans 5:3-5
