THE POWER OF THE HOLY GHOST
THE BIBLE SAYS:
But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: And ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem ,and Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
Acts 1:8
As Christians we have been called by God, commissioned by Jesus Christ, and enabled by the power of the Holy Spirit to fulfill our individual missions with courage, boldness, confidence, and insight.
Since we have Power…..Plug it In.

USE ME LORD
THE BIBLE SAYS:
Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.
Isaiah 6:8
Can we become like Isaiah? As God was present to Isaiah , he is present with us and still calling.
The need is still great!
God’s power can shake your foundation.
His power can shake the routine of your daily existence.
God may remind us of our inadequacy, but we must not permit our sense of unworthiness to distract us from what God wants to accomplish in us……and through us.
We must remember that God has also cleansed us by the precious blood of the lamb.
Just say “Here Am I Lord Send Me”

WHOM SHALL I FEAR?
THE BIBLE SAYS:
THE LORD is my light and my salvation: whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?
Psalm 27:1
There are a lot of things we face from time to time.
People, places and things.
Where can you go for salvation?
Where can you go for refuge?
Where can you go for strength?
Where can you go for peace?
In this life we may face danger from strangers, friends, or even family, but do not fear.
We can be confident that we will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Therefore wait patiently for the Lord and be of great courage, for our God will strengthen and protect us from all harm.

FATHER FORGIVE THEM
THE BIBLE SAYS:
Father Forgive Them, they know not what they are doing.
Luke 23:34
One of the greatest attributes a believer can possess is that of forgiveness.
Christ was a great model in that even though they crucified Him on the Cross,
He hung there and asked God to forgive the perpetrators.
Are we there yet?
Can we truly forgive those that say all manner of evil against us and then pray for them?
If not……
We must start to “shift”
Shift from unforgiving to forgiving.
It is imperative for our state of being and our state before Christ to get our prayers answered.
Let’s operate in Love ……not Anger and Unforgiveness.

WORDS
THE BIBLE SAYS:
A SOFT answer turns away wrath; but grievous words stir up anger.
Proverbs 15:1
Our words carry weight and importance and integrity.
Something has happened to that tradition.
What happened?
Let us think before we speak today.
Use knowledge and words that bring healing to others.
You can beat a person down with words.
God is listening….He hears what we are saying.
He sees into our hearts and know our motives.
Someone needs encouraging today..that someone may be you.
Speak kindly.

DO YOU BELIEVE?
THE BIBLE SAYS:
FOR WITH GOD NOTHING SHALL BE IMPOSSIBLE.
LUKE 1:57
We can come to God with all our weaknesses: physical, emotional, and spiritual.
Pry your mind away from problems so you can focus your attention on Him.
Worry will creep in to try and wedge it’s way into your thoughts…remind yourself,
Jesus knows what we need and when we need it.
He is an on time God.
The bottom line is this:
Nothing is Impossible with God.
Don’t wait til the battle is over
Shout now!!!!!!!!

IN GOD’S HANDS
THE BIBLE SAYS:
FOR ALL this I considered in my heart even to declare all this, that the righteous, and the wise, and their words are in the hand of God: No man knows either love or hatred
by all that is before them
ECCLESIASTES 9:1
Only through God’s wisdom are we able to understand and endure the problems of life that are inevitable but still surprise us with frustration and pain.
Only through God’s wisdom are we able to see beyond life’s problems and know that….
All things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to his purpose.

Daily Devotion-February 13 2017

LORD I SEE YOU
THE BIBLE SAYS:
I know that YOU can do everything, and that no purpose of Yours can be withheld from You..I have uttered what I did not understand, things too wonderful for me, which I did not know… I have heard of You by the hearing of the ear, but now my eye sees You.
JOB 42:1-5
WE MUST first REALIZE
how limited we are without God.
SECONDLY..WE MUST LEARN THAT GOD IS MUCH MORE POWERFUL THAN WE CAN IMAGINE.
THIRDLY…..WE MUST LEARN we need a more in- depth, intimate relationship with God.
We can learn from Job and realize more of God’s greatness and our own limits.

Daily Devotion-February 12 2017

FOCUS ON CHRIST
THE BIBLE SAYS:
I determined to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ, and Him crucified.
1 Corinthians 2:2
Desire to avoid distractions and focus on Jesus.
Don’t be bothered by secondary things.
Today, ask God to search your heart, and make sure that you are not distracted by things of this world.
Dedicate yourself and your resources to God and His Kingdom.
Make serving Him your highest priority.
After all you can’t take anything with you when you die.
What have you banked in heaven?

Daily Devotion – February 11 2017

Be Kind
A gentle answer turns away wrath.
Proverbs 15:1
Make it a point to watch what you say today.
You can end up saying words that you may regret.
Words are like toothpaste….once they come out you can’t put them back in.
Think before you speak.
Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.
Be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving one another.
