Good Friday Morning!
The Bible says:
But we wrestle not against flesh and blood , but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
Ephesians 6:12-13
Paul makes it clear that believers must be strong because they are in a spiritual battle against the devil. We need divine armor in order to stand.
Here is the equipment needed:
Truth, righteousness, faith, salvation, and the gospel of peace, as well as the offensive equipment of the sword of the Spirit to aid us in withstanding every trial.
Although the forces of evil may be hostile and aggressive, they do not have to defeat us.We are fighting from the position of victory because we have the Lord of hosts with us, and the armor of God is our defense.

Good Thursday Morning!
The Bible says;
When Solomon had finished praying, fire came down from heaven….and the glory of the LORD filled the house.
The priests could not enter into the house of the LORD because the glory of the LORD filled the LORD’s. house……they worshiped and gave praise to the LORD.
2 Chronicles 7:1-3
As God’s people gathered for this special event and time of prayer , something extraordinary happened. Fire came down and the place was filled”with the glory of the LORD”.This was not a religious ritual or emotional experience. It was very real! Overwhelmed, they all bowed down “with their faces to the ground”.They could not help but worship and praise God.
This represents a powerful picture of true worship for those with a real relationship with God.Whose faith is not a ritual or habit, but who know that Jesus is the Son of God and that the Holy Spirit really is with us.That the Bible is true, and can change lives.
What’s your testimony?
Is your Christian life more ritual than revelation?
Ask God to make His presence more real for you.
Ask for a real Encounter with the living God.

Good Wednesday Morning!
The Bible says:
I will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.
My soul shall make her boast in the Lord: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad.
O magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together.
I sought the Lord, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.
Psalm 34:1-4
Giving God praise starts the fire inside of you that will lift your burdens and loose you from your fears.
Today is a good day to begin acknowledging that everything , all of our possessions and all that we are belongs to God.
The dawning of this day is a gift from God, not to be taken for granted.
Thank him today for whatever situation you are in; for He knows just how much you can bear!

Good Tuesday Morning!
The Bible says:
He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the LORD require of you but to do justice, to love kindess, and to walk humbly with your God?
Micah 6:8
Realize that God already has told us “what is good”.What? By focusing on His Word.To fill our lives with the Bible. To know it.Study it! The more we know the Word, the greater clarity we will have about “what is good”.
Then Micah reminds us of what God “requires”.In every situation do the right thing.Never compromising our standards or God’s Word. Not doing what seems popular.Always trusting Him.
We also need to have a passion for kindess. To be good and faithful, in the sight of God and other people. And to walk humbly with Him.This means making it a priority to fellowship with Him.To spend quality time with Him.
This relationship can transform our lives, and help us understand His perspective on the issues we face. This also means Trusting Him.Depending on Him.Seeking Him.
Simple truths. This is what He requires of you.

Good Monday Morning!
The Bible says:
A man of too many friends comes to ruin, but there is a friend that sticks closer than a brother.
Proverbs 18:24
The Bible reminds us that, no matter how many friends we have, or how close we might feel to them, none of of these relationships can compare to the relationship we can have with God.He is a friend who”sticks closer than a brother”.
He is with us through both happy and sad times, when we are lonely and afraid, when we succeed or fail. He is there to teach us, and protect us.Other people may fall short or disappoint us, but God will never let us down.He never slumbers or sleeps.
He is with us any time of the day.
Fellowship with Him.You can be sure He is always with you.Every day, every minute.
Remember : He is your best Friend!

Good Sunday Morning!
The Bible says:
This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us.And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers.
1 John 3:16
It is so easy to focus on ourselves. Our own needs and careers. To become obsessed with the challenges we face.To worry about the worlds problems, crisis, and conflicts. But how much more important to remember the simple, life-changing message that Jesus loves us!
Today, pause and consider how much Jesus loves you. He loved you so much that He died on the Cross that your sins might be forgiven. He loves you unconditionally, and is ready to forgive your sins and take away your burdens. Do not let this day go by without thanking Him for His love. And be ready to share that love with others.
“Jesus loves me this I know, for the Bible tells me so”.

Good Saturday Morning!
The Bible says:
My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience.
James 1:24-263
Suffering is an intruder that comes to visit into our lives and intrudes on us.
When trials come, we can easily panic or lose heart. But these difficult circumstances can be the instruments our heavenly Father uses to make us more like Christ.
That why James wrote,”My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work”.
We are not expected to enjoy trials or to celebrate suffering. But when these unwelcome visitors arrive, we can look for God’s hand in them and trust that He can use them to make us more like His Son.

Daily Devotion-April 24 2015

Good Friday Morning!
The Bible says:
Keep asking, and it will be given to you.Keep searching and you will find.Keep knocking; and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who seeks receives, and the one who searches finds, and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.
Matthew 7:7-8
Here it is”the reason prayers are not answered is because we do not comply with the revealed conditions upon which God has promised to answer prayer.
We have to “pray in faith” and expect God to give us the things we ask for.
Many people pray…but how are they praying?
Do you believe that God answers prayer? That He hears your prayers and answers them?
Then if so….banish doubt.Dare to pray with faith and boldness.
Expect that He will answer your prayers!

Good Thursday Morning!
The Bible says:
Thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path.
Psalm 119:105
It does not matter the conditions or the circumstances, people should trust, receive, and adopt only the Word of God for guidance. As a lamp and a light, his Word is sufficient in directing us toward himself.
God has given us his Word for guidance. Since God’s Word is powerful enough to provide illumination for us in this dark world, we can make choices that determine the eternal destiny of our souls. Thus we have no reason to spend eternity in hell.
John 1:1-2 says, In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.The same was in the beginning with God. This means that Jesus Christ, God’s Son, is also God.He is in fact , the bridge between God and man.
We can resolve to adhere to the truth of God’s Word so that we may live eternally with God.Let us be so guided by the Word that we will stay on the path that leads us to eternal life and peace.
The Word:
Will feed you when you are Hungry
The Word:
Will give you Water when you are Thirsty
The Word:
Will be your Bridge over Troubled waters
The Word:
Will give you Peace in the Midst of a Storm

Daily Devotion-April 22 2015

Good Wednesday Morning!
The Bible says:
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
Psalm 46:1
In spite of life’s troubles, “Life is unfair, but God is good”.
Our God offers us a place of protection. We remain in his protective care and he promises his presence in the time of trouble.
No matter what your troubles may be , remember your position and God’s protection. Thanks be to God that he will help us in the time of trouble.
