None of us ever do anything great on our own. It is God who gives us what we need to thrive. Without Him, we would have nothing. That’s why we honor God first and foremost by tithing*.

Like prayer, an offering is a kind of communication with the Lord, our God. It’s a way for us to show that we know the value of our church; that through giving, we are remaining close to God and His teachings. Your offering supports our worship building and the people who maintain it. It also spreads God’s love and compassion throughout our local community.

By tithing and offering, we can remember God in our weekly activities, and thus remember all He has done for us.
